There is another young man I have been training with and my best crack at spelling his name would be Sihow (Sea-how). He is around fourteen years of age and doesn't speak much English. One day we found ourselves left behind at the training camp and had the responsibility to run the training ourselves. We actually were able to progress through the routines very well, all things considered.
After we wrapped up, it began to rain. We both spent sometime outside in the rain just enjoying the weather. Because it was so humid, the water actually felt really good . I had some jazz music playing from my phone and I grabbed my journal and started to write.
Before any of this happened, I had read a scripture earlier that day. The scripture spoke about when was the last time we asked God to cleanse us. When I recalled what I had read I decided to use this rain as an opportunity to experience another baptism. There were no tears streaming down my cheeks this time during this impromptu self-dedication, but none the less, I believed my inward sincerity to be honored and accepted.
